30 Weeks!

I can not believe my EDD is only 10 weeks away. DH and I are very excited, as well as a little nervous, about meeting our Little Girl. Lately we have been talking names and we have a few we both like (but are keeping them secret until she arrives). Our crib and dresser are going to be delivered sometime this week plus we have a very talented friend and his mom painting something for us on the nursery wall while DH and I are out of town for my first baby shower. We have awesome friends because another friend of ours agreed to take some maternity photos for me. Here is a little about the babies development (taken from http://www.babycenter.com/6_your-pregnancy-30-weeks_1119.bc):

How your baby's growing:
Your baby's about 15.7 inches long now, and she weighs almost 3 pounds (like a head of cabbage). A pint and a half of amniotic fluid surrounds her, but that volume will decrease as she gets bigger and takes up more room in your uterus. Her eyesight continues to develop, though it's not very keen; even after she's born, she'll keep her eyes closed for a good part of the day. When she does open them, she'll respond to changes in light but will have 20/400 vision — which means she can only make out objects a few inches from her face. (Normal adult vision is 20/20.)

The best thing so far is watching my belly move when LG (little Girl) moves/kicks/punches/has the hiccups. She definitely gets the hiccups a lot, it is so cute! Only 10 more weeks to go!
